Today I want to chat about Heroic Education and how we’re going to train the next generation of Heroes.
Let’s get straight to work.
That’s Tim Dowd.
Tim is an administrator at the Lacey Township School District.
He’s also a Class 15 (and Lifetime!) Heroic Coach and part of the Heroic Performance Coaching team that supports our corporate and consumer coaching clients.
(Tim was also going to be one of our first 100+ Heroic Workshop Instructors, but had a Love W.I.N. (his daughter’s Confirmation!) that overlapped with the training, so he’ll be earning his official certification at a future event!)
And…
Tim has started incorporating parts of our Heroic Performance Coaching (and Heroic Workshop) protocols into the work he’s doing with his students.
In fact, he dominated THIS session with a group of high school sophomores yesterday morning.
(Note the all caps “LET’S GOOOOOO!!!!!”)
I don’t know what to say other than THAT (!!!) is how we are going to change the the world together—by training the NEXT GENERATION of Heroes as we help transform our education system.
We’re blessed to have a number of pilot Heroic Education projects in the works.
