You can think of us like a crowdsourced VC: we share dealflow with each other, collaborate on due diligence, and have a group of backers that invest in the startups we choose. Like a VC, backers pay carried interest to invest alongside us in our deals.

I'm one of the founders of Wefunder. I've invested in Zenefits, Checkr, Ginkgo Bioworks, Casetext, Ubiome and over 100 other startups. I went through Y Combinator W'13, and graduated from MIT Sloan in '10.
