Ticket Scanning for Membership Communities
We just launched an exciting ticket-scanning feature this weekend, the only ticket-scanning tool built for membership communities.
Organizers with large followings, with a few hundred attendees per event, are great fits for Withfriends because they've created a lot of excitement and people love their membership programs. Ticket-scanning helps these large organizers continue to use Withfriends as they grow, growth which in part made possible through their membership communities on Withfriends.
The Appraiser
We built a new "Appraiser" tool for our Gems, our name for independent cultural spaces in cities!
This tool assembles insights from across Withfriends to help venues understand how their own membership programs are projected to grow, based on their activity with us to date. It also helps us show new venues that they're missing out on something big every day they are not yet running Withfriends.

It supports some of our decisions - like our upcoming discovery features that focus on cultural values, like black-owned businesses or climate activism, not just genres, and memberships that build a close relationship, in addition to offering discounts.
But our membership behavior outperforms their findings. We believe this reflects our core strengths 1) new, affordable monthly memberships instead of old, pricey annual memberships and 2) connecting audiences to membership opportunities when they're excited about the space and they're already buying something, rather than weeks later via a link in a newsletter in a flooded inbox.
