Hello Wefunder Investors,

We’ve now concluded the first month since the Wefunder second round financing was successfully completed. As in previous months, I wanted to provide you with an update on the many things happening with our OodlesDeals mobile app, and overall at the company.

CSU - Sacramento State Students Enjoyed Burritos On Launch Day

OodlesDeals officially launched at CSU - Sacramento State at the end of August ’18, at a well known taqueria close to campus that is also a key vendor-partner on the app. More than 500 students downloaded the app at launch, and many hundreds of these new Sac-State Oodlers came to enjoy the awesome-tasting burritos at the restaurant during the course of launch day. The number of CSU - Sac Students on the app has since grown higher, as these early OodlesDeals users shared the deals on the app with their friends, who in turn downloaded the app to enjoy the SCORCHING deals together.

The photo below captures the positive atmosphere experienced by everyone who came to the launch event — the burritos were great, as was the chance to download an app that provides SCORCHING deals at well-known restaurants close to campus.

The OodlesDeals marketing team leveraged the launch at CSU - Sac State to innovate on a new way of servicing the students at the University - by sponsoring a fraternity that is new on campus and seeking ways to increase awareness with the student body as part of their campus growth strategy.

Not only did the OodlesDeals marketing team provide the fraternity with a philanthropic grant that enhanced their financial stature, but also by advertising their name and mission as part of the marketing outreach for the launch to the entire student body. Awareness of the fraternity increased greatly post launch day, which had a positive impact on their recruitment goals, and many of the students that came to the OodlesDeals launch event commented positively on our company and its overall mission of enhancing students social lives. It was a win/win for everyone.

With the new school year now starting, the OodlesDeals marketing team is exploring ways to execute similar philanthropic activities at all the schools where the app is available.

Number Of Vendors On App 2x Vs Last School Year

In last month’s update, I described the vendor-recruitment activities conducted by the OodlesDeals Business Development team over the summer. With the new school year already begun at CSU - Chico, the launch of CSU - Sac State in late-August, and the upcoming late-September start of the school year at both U of O - Eugene and UC - Davis, this hard-work has paid off with an approximate 2x growth in the total number of vendors on the OodlesDeals app vs. the last school year.

These vendor partners, both old and new, have commented on the unique value proposition of the app, and the SCORCHER deals ability to bring multiple people into their restaurants to enjoy time together. As you know, this transaction process is a patented protected one, and is what makes the OodlesDeals app truly unique and added-value to use.

If you have the time, please open the OodlesDeals app, and check-out each of the four schools on the app, and the vendor-partners now on the app.

Summary

School has already started at both CSU - Chico and CSU - Sac State, the fourth University where OodlesDeals is now available. Students are transacting via the app at the numerous restaurants available in and around campus. The simplified design of the app is making it easier for these students to use the app, invite their friends, and enjoy the many SCORCHING deals available on the app together. We’re off to a good start.

The entire OodlesDeals team is looking forward to similar results when both the U of O - Eugene and UC - Davis restart their school years, in the next few weeks.

This next statement is similar to one I’ve made in the past — Asheesh and I owe a big thanks to all of you who have helped us get to this point.
