Hey everyone —
Bruno here (yes, real person, real founder, definitely real wine).
This is our first Wefunder update — and honestly, I want to start with why we’re even here.
Because we didn’t start Bruno to make another wine brand.
We started Bruno because wine got boring. And because it has absolutely zero presence in the place we all consume right now: online.
The industry gave up on an entire generation of drinkers.
You know what they replaced wine with?
$20 canned cocktails. Hard seltzers named after astrological signs. Beer that tastes like a Jolly Rancher.
Meanwhile, wine just sat there — quiet, snobby, waiting for people to care again.
Spoiler: they didn’t.
So we decided to do something about it.
A decade ago Tequila was seen as a gross frat party drink. Good stewardship turned that into the "better-for-you" spirit. Wine has that same opportunity - if we figure out how to sell it.
What’s Bruno?
Bruno is wine for real life.
Not for tasting notes.
Not for Napa weekends.
Not for people who use "terroir" in casual conversation.
Bruno is for breakups. Pool days. Bad dates. Chaos.
And the wild part? It's working.
Since launching 5 months ago:
- We’ve done $40K+ in sales.
- We’re pacing $200K+ ARR.
- We’ve already done $15K this month — and it’s only April 14th.
- We’re selling out faster than we can buy inventory...and pre-selling wine that we haven't even labeled yet
- We have some awesome SKUs coming down the pipeline that should increase our markups to ~3.5x - up from ~2.5x

- today.
- And we’re just getting started.
What’s Next?
We’re raising on Wefunder so we can sprint, not jog.
We’re buying every bottle we can get our hands on.
We’re scaling DTC and wholesale in parallel.
We’re building the Liquid Death of wine — and doing it with the same chaotic energy.
If you’re here, you’re early.
Like… really early.
Thanks for being here. Thanks for believing in a little wine brand from Miami crazy enough to take on a $90B industry.
More updates soon — I’ll keep these coming.
Get weird. Drink Bruno.
— Bruno
P.S. Here are some nice screenshots of what our past month has looked like in DTC (wholesale revenue is extra ;) )

You're the first one here!
Early people don't usually get a prize, so here's a love letter from us.
