Those of you who invested during the private phase might have received an email asking to reconfirm their investment. This is because we appointed Philippe Kavafyan, former CEO of MHI Vestas, as our Lead Investor. The Lead Investor is a central piece of all Wefunder raises as they represent the one link between Wefunder, the investors (you) and us.

Philippe brings his experience of 16 years as a seasoned executive in the wind energy business, both onshore and offshore. He is joining our advisory board, which also comprises:

• Jérôme Pécresse, President & CEO, GE Renewable Energy. Jerome brings his network and expertise over the entire renewable energy sector, worldwide.
• Jonathan Howes, former Founding Director and Chief Technical officer, Isentropic Ltd. Isentropic created one of the very few working PHES (Pumped Heat Energy Storage) demonstrators currently in operation. Jonathan brings advice and deep technical expertise in designing and operating high temperature mechanical systems.

We are currently conducting interviews with experts from academic labs, including Sandia National Laboratories (US) and DLR (Germany), to secure a fourth advisor with deep technical expertise in the field of molten nitrate salts.
