Hi awesome people. Hope that you've had a restful and peaceful holiday season so far!

First, shout out to all of the people who are now investors in QuirkChat! Thanks so much for believing in our vision to become the home of geek fandom conversation and vertical communities. Every time that we get an email about a new investor, I toggle between one of these two happy dances: the Carlton or the cabbage patch (sigh to my lack of gifs here).

So, time for some updates! 

Update #1

If you happen to be on Clubhouse, I will be pitching QuirkChat, alongside our head of content, Lauren and our CFO, Candice on a show called CrowdHouse. 

It's basically like Shark Tank for Crowdfunding. If you haven't heard me pitch before and were curious or wanted to say hi, I'd love for you to stop by tonight at 8pm EST! My username on Clubhouse is @bee.

Update #2

While we have a small and mighty team, we have been grateful to have some awesome investors and advisors, such as our advisors and investors at Snap Inc, SoGal Ventures and Wefunder XX! 

Now that we have tested our beta product (the app currently in the app store/google play) and are working towards our launch (what you've seen on Wefunder), we have been able to attract two amazing investors: the former VP of Product at Twitch and a former PM at FB Groups, who has also asked to come on as an advisor. Both individuals have also founded startups and are brilliant at creating community products. We are pumped to have them on The Quirk Team!

We are inching closer to our first goal of $50,000 and would love to hit that before the holiday season. If you have any suggestions on angels that I should be reaching out to, feel free to leave a comment here or message me on Linkedin!
