Hello Wefunder Investors,

Today is Friday, September 18th, 2020, and we’ve now almost concluded the eight month since the WeFunder third round financing was initiated. Our campaign on WeFunder (www.wefunder.com/oodles) ends on October 6th, just a couple of weeks away. This is your final chance to invest in our #supportlocal mission, playing your part in helping restauranteurs across the country revitalize their businesses from the economic devastation that the CoronaVirus Pandemic has caused.

As in previous months, I wanted to provide you with an update on the many things happening with the OodlesDeals mobile app, and overall at the company.

Fifteen Communities In Partnerships Pipeline

Since my August ’20 monthly update, two communities — Evanston, IL, and Chico, CA — have already agreed to partner with Oodles with our #supportlocal initiative, and two others are in advanced stages of negotiations. There are eleven additional communities, beyond these four, that have initiated discussions with the OodlesDeals sales team. The community partnership pipeline is strong, driven in large part by the win-win-win nature of our #supportlocal mission.

In order to accelerate the outreach to these communities, we need your help. Go to wefunder.com/oodles, and do your part by investing in the campaign before the October 6th deadline. The Oodles Management team knows that the effects of the Pandemic are going to be felt for many months to come, particularly by the restaurant industry, and our entire team is committed to helping them through this crisis.

#supportChico Restaurant Week A Big Success

In last month’s update, I mentioned that the OodlesDeals Marketing team would be executing a #supportChico Restaurant Week, in conjunction with our partners. Five restaurants in Chico were featured as ‘Restaurants Of The Day’ during #supportChico Restaurant week, and our partners — the Downtown Chico Business Association and Phi Delta Theta fraternity on the CSU - Chico campus — helped spread the word.

The #supportChico Restaurant Week was a big success, and executed in a safe way, keeping within the health guidelines of local and state authorities. All five of the restaurants who participated in the week-long event expressed their gratitude for the support, growth in awareness and SCORCHER traffic for their restaurants. As you know, the SCORCHER process of enabling users to invite friends and spend time together is a patented protected one, and is what makes the OodlesDeals app truly unique and added-value to use.

African-American Owned Restaurant Week Plans

Across the country, African-American entrepreneurs, including restaurant owners, have been disproportionately affected economically by the Coronavirus Pandemic. This is a statistical fact, which the Oodles Management team saw an opportunity to help out. As I mentioned in last month’s update, the OodlesDeals Sales team will offer all African-American owned restaurants on the app our service free-of-charge, until the Pandemic has passed.

Given the success of #supportChico Restaurant Week, plans are underway to conduct an African-American restaurant focused restaurant week with one of our partner communities. I will provide specific detail of this initiative in my next update.

This is a model we will replicate periodically with every community with whom we partner.

The Oodles Management team is eager to help local communities and restaurants during this time of extreme need — this is our pledge to #supportlocal.
Please do your essential part by investing in the fundraising campaign at www.wefunder.com/oodles, before time runs out.

On behalf of Asheesh and the entire OodlesDeals Management team, I ask you to stay healthy, and stay safe during this time of crisis.
We are all in this together.
