Both Virtual Reality and Psychedelics increase the level of surprise in our brain which can increase our brains' plasticity and help create more understanding within our self and our larger society.  These are some of the broader ideas that have fueled the creation of Meu and why I am so passionate about my work.  This is one of the lectures I most enjoyed giving combining two of my research topics.
