It is special to sit back and recall what an amazing 2019 we've had. Just a year ago we were receiving the keys to Miami-Dade County at the private unveiling of our V1.0 station.
Then 2019 began with a bang.
SunVessel won the inaugural Pitch Madness competition at the Synapse conference beating hundreds of participants and taking our first institutional investment.
This win led to a special invitation to participate in eMerge Americas where we publicly unveiled our V1.0 station and had hundreds of rides. Not only that, our mobility amenity was so well received that it made the cover of the Miami Herald.
After eMerge and while testing our devices, I received a call from CNN. They wanted to highlight our story in a very personal interview. That interview was conducted at building.co which soon became our first official launch location.
We launched and captured the hearts of our first community leading to a working partnership with Ironhack that led to a revamp of our user experience and digital presence. Hundreds of rides and zero accidents later, we are still providing safe and efficient mobility to building.co and have captured the interest of other properties which have presented their letters of intent!
Mayor Gimenez, wanted to come for a ride so we invited him to our first launch location. I must say he did an amazing job riding with ease through our test track. During this time we were invited to the New York Stock Exchange where we talked about our wins and what we are doing. Yes, that was a special moment for us.
What we will present in 2020 will define and scale SunVessel to new markets, so we can show our true potential. We aim to become the premier transportation amenity for properties.
