Memo

For decades, manufacturing moved farther from home.

Now, that trend is reversing.

Companies are rebuilding domestic supply chains, investing in American production, and looking for better ways to make products closer to where they are needed.

We believe the next era of American manufacturing will be defined by resilience, innovation, and a new generation of modern production technology.

America is building again.

R3 is building for that future.

Before starting R3, we ran a manufacturing service business ourselves.

We dealt firsthand with the machines, downtime, repetitive work, material limitations, and the complexity involved in reliably producing parts for customers.

Eventually, we decided to build the manufacturing systems we wished we had.

What began as a solution to our own problems has grown into a company with 15 granted U.S. patents, over $5M+ raised to date, 3 products already on the market, a commitment to being Made in America, and a much larger vision for industrial production that’s local, automated, and within our control.

We didn’t start R3 because it would be easy.

We started it because we lived a problem that needed to be solved.

Our first production cells use a combination of industrial automation, additive manufacturing, and physical AI as the technology inside an increasingly automated production system.

This difference is critical.

We aren’t building standalone machines.

We’re building production cells that operate as building blocks for autonomous factories.

And we’re already generating revenue. Our first production cells are on the market and shipping.

Meet R3 Printer and R3 Printer Ultra:

Both are built around the same philosophy:

Automate more. Require less intervention. Give customers more control.

We see a generational opportunity to modernize and reshore American production by bringing the $767B industrial machinery market back home:

Creating jobs, rebuilding critical manufacturing capabilities, and supporting the people and communities that build it.

This is where the R3 story gets much bigger.

A customer can begin with one automated production cell.

Over time, the R3 ecosystem can expand around it:

R3 should not be viewed as a company that just sells individual machines.

We’re building a modular, fully-integrated manufacturing ecosystem.

Any R3 system can operate as an individual automated production cell.

Next, multiple production cells can be connected through software and additional automation.

Over time, we envision production environments where scheduling, material management, part handling, quality control, and machine orchestration happen automatically.

The end state is what industry often calls lights-out production: manufacturing infrastructure capable of operating continuously and autonomously. Instead of an operator running an individual machine, they’re running an entire factory.

We're building a factory where:

  1. Production schedules itself.
  2. Materials move automatically.
  3. Parts are loaded and unloaded robotically.
  4. Quality is monitored continuously.
  5. Production cells coordinate through software.
  6. Manufacturing continues around the clock without needing to supervise every repetitive step.

That is the vision behind R3.

The factory becomes the product.

And we’re already executing on this vision.

Revenue-generating, strategic customers, and expanding channels.

R3 Printing is following in the footsteps of iconic companies like Apple and Amazon, which both turned products into trillion-dollar ecosystems.

Siemens’ recent acquisition of Altair shows the high value strategic buyers are placing on companies advancing industrial automation. Other recent transactions include National Instruments’ acquisition by Emerson and ABB Robotics’ acquisition by SoftBank, underscoring the scale of outcomes being created across industrial technology.

We built R3 to "land and expand."

By delivering massive value from the very first production cell a customer buys, we build deep customer trust, naturally unlocking lifelong revenue as clients choose to scale up with our software subscriptions, supplies, services and modular upgrades.

Our land-and-expand strategy means each deployment creates compounding revenue streams that scale automatically as our footprint grows. By 2031, we project our revenue mix to shift to roughly 58% Products, 25% Services, and 17% Software.

The underlying economics are simple: every new system we deploy widens our foundation, structurally increasing recurring revenue from existing customer relationships over time.

R3 has already raised over $5 million across private capital, crowdfunding, and government funding.

That capital helped build our core technology, secure a robust patent portfolio, and successfully bring our first products to market:

This next phase is different. It’s about turning that proven foundation into scale. We’re building this next chapter so that our community can ride the wave of our growth alongside us.

This round gives you the opportunity to join nearly 10,000 forward-thinking investors alongside the U.S. Air Force, OCEAN Capital, New York State, and Fordham University’s venture fund in backing the next generation of software-defined, modular manufacturing.

Our team brings together an automation pioneer who ran mission-critical systems at Bridgewater Associates and Morgan Stanley, a hyper-growth strategist from Disney and Casper, and an engineering veteran who built life-saving autonomous robotics platforms at Activ Surgical and Ophthorobotics.

R3’s leadership hails from elite academic institutions—Columbia, NYU, Northeastern, and Fordham—and some of the world’s most successful technology, robotics, and consumer brands.

Manufacturing is coming home.

For decades, America lost manufacturing capacity, capability, and independence.

Today, that direction is changing.

What we’re building is bigger than any one machine—or any one company.

It’s about rebuilding the future of America.

Help us build it.
