What is the total expiration time of Vipax, from the time of production until the time of expiration? Also it was stated that the anti-bodies grown were similar of that to human, are they similar to that of mice as well?

Hi James! These are some excellent questions. Our single domain aintibodies have high thermal stability and have not degraded or lost activitiy in 12 months at room temperature in solution. The ultimate expiration time will be decided through the FDA but it is very likely to be longer than current antivenoms! Also, our antibodies have high sequence homology with human antibodies and not so much with mice which helps to keep side effects to a minimum. Thanks!

Hi Raymond, thanks for your questions and interest! Our clinical trial design is well-characterized and does not differ substantially from the regulatory pathway taken by previously approved antivenoms. Single-domain antibodies (nanobodies) have undergone clinical trials already for other indications and performed quite well and so are not considered a new class of drug.
