One of the things we hear quite often from people is "this sounds too good to be true!" This is what Morley Safer said to World Tree founder Wendy Burton in his first conversation with her:

“…My staff brought your company to my attention and I have to tell you young lady, quite frankly, it sounds like a scam. I’m going to do my research on you and if I find out it’s a scam, I’m going to expose you.”

The story has a happy ending. Morley Safer and his team did investigate World Tree and were so impressed they published this documentary for the American Environmental Review. The video was produced some years ago, and the quality is a bit scratchy, but the content is fabulous and still holds true today.
