According to US Department of Homeland Security Grant Program guidelines, commercial furnishings embedded with Amulet® Ballistic Barrier technology qualify as a counterterrorism or 'ballistic shield' device.  The US Federal Government has allocated funds that may be appropriated under the Department of Homeland Security Grant Program for procurement of furnishings containing Amulet® Ballistic Barriers (HSGP https://www.dhs.gov/homeland-security-grant-program-hsgp).   

Federal, State, and local agencies are now able to utilize Homeland Security Grant Program funds for the purchase of Amulet® embedded furnishings in order to help better address their security needs.
