Thanks for all your support, and we'd like to share some year-end updates.
Regarding our taproom on Main Street, we've now done over $400K in sales in 2017 and welcomed supporters from all over Texas. In addition to receiving the Governor's Small Business Award, we also recently received the Taylor Press Readers' Choice Awards for Best Bar, Coldest Beer, Best Happy Hour and Best Bartender. We've also donated to over a dozen local charities and helped anchor Taylor's exciting downtown revitalization efforts.
Regarding distribution, we've now sold over 1,000 cases in our first two months of distribution. We've just expanded to 12 HEB stores, and we're thrilled with the success of our initial launch. If your neighborhood store or bar hasn't picked us up yet, then politely ask the manager to request a Texas Beer delivery, and we'll make it happen!
Regarding crowdfunding, we now have over 150 people investing over $150,000. Texas Beer Co is a people-powered brewery, and we're humbled and honored by this outpouring of grassroots support. We've also received feedback that many of our supporters are busy during the holidays, so we're extending the crowdfunding deadline from January 1, 2018 to April 30th, 2018. If your friends are traveling during the holidays but still want to join our team, then let them know about the extended deadline. Also please share this crowdfunding video on social media and help us spread the word!
As we've said before, this is a long term journey that won't provide a quick investor return. But our initial distribution success gives us even more confidence this will be a rewarding long term experience for our investment team, and with your continued support, we can keep the momentum going and make the coming years even more successful.
