Epec - James F.C. Hyde Sorgho Whiskey

Five Week Recap: Funds are Flowing In, Over 147% of Minimum Achieved; Operational Benefits Are Clearly Visible

With five weeks behind us, we've raised over 147% of minimum and have exhausted nearly 75% of our 20% early bird bonus allocation.

We want to take this opportunity to thank and welcome our 148 new investors to our global community of owners who are joining us on this exciting journey.  We now have owners from six nations outside the U.S. plus, an FPO - AP.  For those unfamiliar with the term FPO - AP (I was), it means "Fleet Post Office" - "Armed Forces Pacific".  Our community of owners now includes a member of the US Navy, stationed abroad.  Thank you sir for your service.  Return home safely.

We knew when we opted for "community ownership" that it would have a positive impact on the ground.  We're now getting a measure on how much impact, and it's been even more than anticipated.

We recently closed a deal to bring James FC Hyde Sorgho Whiskey to America's sorghum capital - Kansas.  The success of our offering helped convince LDF Sales & Distribution they had a "winning" partner to work with.  Seabourn has decided to make our Sorgho Whiskey available across its entire fleet.  Other distribution opportunities are not yet closed, but all moving forward because of the positive momentum flowing from our offering.

The success of our offering has also helped to further cement our relationship with the National Sorghum Producers and United Sorghum Checkoff program.  The National Sorghum Producers has decided our offering will be a news story in the next issue - Summer 2017 - of Sorghum Grower Magazine.

I'm more convinced than ever, that "community ownership" is not only a great way to finance the elevation of a brand, but is a great "organic" brand booster too.
