Wefunder Attends Legion M's Stan Lee Party

Stan Lee is an icon to many! This is a great beginning for Legion M. We have to remember, this is just the beginning for a fan owned entertainment company. There may be many ways to create awareness, and a "buzz." This is only one. I suspect the leaders of Legion M know this, and will use the most appropriate method, taking in to consideration finances available at the time. I would not expect more expensive promotional methodology at this time of company development.

That was great that Stan was able to attend....You guys did an "AWESOME" job!!!!! I wish my nephew, Jordan Bhagan could have attended...Yes, when is the next event....Please make it in NY/NJ :)

It was wonderful that Stan was able to attend, especially considering the fact that he's still grieving for his wife (of 69 years!) that had passed away 1.5 weeks earlier.

We'd like to do more events around the country. We had meet-ups all around the country when Colossal came out. If you aren't already, you should join our private Facebook group, as that's a great way to stay in touch with everything that's happening.

Any level, Chad! We sold tickets to this event in order to raise money for this event and the handprint ceremony. It was open to both shareholders and non-shareholders alike. We don't differentiate investors based on the size of their investment. We think the size of your heart matters more than the size of your bank account.

I do understand the importance of networking and social events in any business, let alone in entertainment business. I invested a small amount in Legion M because I liked the concept, i like film-making and I believe you when you saying that you are conservative with money. Nevertheless, I partially agree with Faisal (even though I disagree with the way expressing it). Let me explain, how it looks like for an European investor, who perhaps is not very familiar with Los Angeles mentality. Last weeks, I have received several emails on my inbox on how great this party was and how great the venue of the party was. I totally understand you are "selling an idea" and not a specific product, so I don't expect to see tangible metrics/results like other investments I have in various European equity crowd funding platforms. However, what I would suggest to Legion M is to try incorporating some numbers in these updates. For instance, how much this party cost? how much profit did you have from such an event? how many tickets did you sell? what did you achieve? did you sell any merchandize? Taking this opportunity, I would also like to see some more frequent updates (either in your site or forum, I don't use facebook) about the current developments you are working. I am still committed to the idea of Legion M and I am here for the long run; I don't expect any return soon, because I understand such an idea will take a very long time to be developed. Still guys from time to time is good to provide some "business data". PS. Let's all try to remain civilized, without characterizations. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, as long as express it politely.

Faisal is possibly stunted by stupid, don't give it any attention. This was a fantastic event and exactly what Legion M needs to help work our way into that world.

This is beyond bullshit. There are better ways to create awareness and "buzz" then attending and/or throwing party's. Really hate the fact I funded this crap.

Just so you know, Faisal, this wasn't some crazy expenditure. We sold enough tickets and sponsorships that Legion M made actually money (profit!) from the party. All the buzz and awareness was free.

We're very conservative with cash, but when we see an opportunity to raise our profile AND make money, we go for it! Don't fear, we're not the type of company that would blow our cash on a big party :)
