Google said to undercut Uber and Lyft with expanded ride-share service in San Francisco. The move would put Google in direct, immediate competition with Uber and Lyft.

Google’s new offering uses the Google-owned Waze app to connect commuters for shared carpooling. The ODE transportaion space will further expand as each take stake in autonomous ridesharing in the near future.
