We’re proud to announce that Hempitecture has received a second round of funding from NYSERDA, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.

This builds on the success of our initial $1.1M award under NYSERDA’s Natural Carbon Solutions program. That first round of funding helped us accelerate the development of a product we’re incredibly proud to introduce to you: FiberFill — our new blowable, carbon-smart insulation for walls and attics.

FiberFill is designed for easy installation in both new construction and retrofit applications, offering a natural alternative to conventional loose-fill insulation products. And it’s not just a product — it’s the result of rigorous R&D, government-backed support, and a rapidly growing demand for healthier, high-performance materials.

With this second tranche of funding, NYSERDA is recognizing the early success of our innovation and investing further in our ability to scale FiberFill — including the future development of our natural fiber loose-fill production line in NY and beyond.

This is what real momentum looks like: public funding, private investment, and product-market alignment converging in the final stretch of our Wefunder campaign.
