Dear Investors and Supporters,

Most tools try to detect AI after the fact. But students are now using tools called “humanizers” to rewrite AI-generated text in ways that fool every detection system. These detection tools are no longer reliable—false positives are high, lawsuits are rising, and educators are losing trust in them.

Zero Cheating takes a different approach: prevention.

Instead of trying to guess whether a paper was written with AI, our software shows how it was written—step by step—using video playback of the writing process.

Breakthrough #1: The First and Only Microsoft Word Playback Tool

While a few companies (like Brisk and GPTZero) offer basic playback for Google Docs, no one has this capability for Microsoft Word—and that’s a critical gap.

Many schools use Microsoft Word exclusively for assignments and will not switch to Google Docs due to district policies, IT security, or accessibility requirements. Until now, those schools have had no viable solution to prevent AI use in student writing.

We’ve just completed a successful proof of concept for our Microsoft Word playback tool. It works seamlessly, and schools are in dire need of this solution. We are the first and only company in the market offering this.

Breakthrough #2: First LMS Integration for Word and Google Docs

Playback tools only become usable at scale when they’re integrated into the systems teachers already use—Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Canvas, Blackboard, and Schoology.

We’re now finalizing full LMS integration for both Microsoft Word and Google Docs. No other company has this. Competitors require teachers to leave their LMS, upload files manually, or use separate tools—none of which scale easily for schools.

Some districts have made LMS integration a non-negotiable requirement before approving software use. Our LMS integration removes friction and will allow Zero Cheating to grow quickly across institutions that were previously out of reach.

Strategic Implications

  • Massive market unlock: We can now serve Microsoft Word-only schools for the first time.
  • First-mover advantage: We're positioned as the leader in prevention—not outdated detection.
  • Defensible IP: A third utility patent is pending for our LMS-integrated playback system.
  • Long-term moat: Schools that adopt us are unlikely to switch, given the integration and contracts.

Want to see how it works?

This is a clear need in the market. Schools are actively looking for something like this—and we’re already delivering it.

Thank you for your continued support,
