📈 A Challenge We’re Rising To

New U.S. tariffs on imports from India—26% on top of the existing 16.6% tariff—are putting pressure on our margins. But at Jackalo, we don’t cut corners. We double down on our values:

✅ High-quality

✅ Sustainably made

✅ Built to last

We partner with certified-organic factories in India because they’re among the few that meet our rigorous standards. There are no U.S. factories currently certified for organic children’s wear—so adapting without compromising is our mission.

đŸ’Ș How We’re Responding (and Staying Ahead)

✅ Strong Inventory Position

We have a solid amount of inventory, giving us room to breathe. We’re focusing now on restocking bestsellers and a few new styles—no panic, just smart planning.

đŸ§” Managing Production with Intention

We’re collaborating with our factory partners to explore cost-saving solutions. Our goal: keep things moving without sacrificing quality or values.

🔁 Circularity Isn’t a Buzzword—It’s Our Backbone

Our TradeUp program gives families credit for sending back outgrown clothes, which we renew or responsibly recycle. It’s good for the planet and our bottom line—especially when new production gets more expensive.

🌎 Exploring New Paths

We will likely test small-batch and nearshore manufacturing for lower-cost items. While core pieces like pants are still best made with our India partners, we’re actively exploring flexible, lower-impact production options.

🚀 Why This Moment Matters

We’re not just adjusting—we’re advancing. Tariffs challenge the way we operate, but purpose at Jackalo is bigger than tariffs: to fix what’s broken in the kids’ clothing industry.

With your support, we’re building a resilient, responsible, and scalable business. One that’s future-facing and fiercely mission-driven.

Let’s change the game—together.

Join us in building the future of kids’ clothing.
