FADE TO BLACK Investment Opportunity Now Open!

Published on Dec 20, 2024

We’re thrilled to announce that the direct investment opportunity for FADE TO BLACK is officially open to everyone! After completing the short reservation-only window, we’ve been absolutely blown away by the support from our incredible community, with over $900,000 invested already ($200K came in directly). Thank you Legion M for showing up in such a big way—it’s this enthusiasm that fuels everything we do at Legion M and there is still room for more to join us.

As a reminder, we wrapped shooting FADE TO BLACK on November 25th at 3:45 AM, and celebrated with a toast and cake alongside our phenomenal cast and crew (see pics below). Now, our director Andrew is hard at work with the editors, assembling the first cut. Once that’s complete, we’ll be ready to identify the perfect film festivals to premiere the film. As always, we are aiming high.

There’s already significant buzz in the indie filmmaking community thanks to a short sizzle we made from the dailies that garnered a ton of attention from industry insiders. With the horror genre at its peak and FADE TO BLACK’s timely subject matter, we’re confident this film will enter the market with tons of momentum.

Remember, Legion M owns this film, so you’re already a part of its success. There is no pressure to invest. But if you’d like to double down on your support with a direct investment — and see your name in the credits or lock in your spot at the premiere — now is your chance!

INVEST NOW

Stay tuned for more post production updates, including an upcoming Zoom call with the creative team where you’ll get exclusive insights, plus a sneak peek into the making of this exciting project.

Thank you for being an essential part of Legion M. With your support, we’re creating films we can all be proud of and they just keep getting better. Let’s keep the momentum rolling!

Together, we are unstoppable!

Paul, Jeff, and the Legion M team

Looks good. Outside of my range. Thanks!!!
Thanks Kevin. Outside your range from a content perspective or price? Min investment is just $100.
I think the biggest perks to investing in a film is the long-term reoccurring revenue share, to not invest because of no big perks up front probably means you shouldn't be a movie investor my friends. Every investment is a risk and gamble, I'd rather not get anything up front, allow the crew to use the money on making a film that will achieve a ROI and get something that's reoccurring like shared profits down the line.

I mentioned the same thing in “Her Song.” They were like, “We have an Oscar winner involved.” The above-the-line perk instantly confirms whether the film is outside of my range within 2 seconds of reading. Hopefully, one day, it will be in my range, but as of today, it's outside of my range, which is true based on the level of the perk.
I believe this will definitely be a hit especially with working with the actors you have as your cast.
I’m in like Flynn…
Keeping my 👀 peeled!!! 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

I mean outside of my range from a producer perspective. Only invest in things in a certain range. This one is outside of that range. Its kind of cool when crowdfund film investments allow for new participants above the line.
Seriously, Paul. You have no shame. How many times are you going to dupe people into bad investments? None of the other film investments have come close to even recouping production cost, and everyone involved is going to lose their shirt. If they invest in this, they'll lose their money again.
Glad i invested in this
