We’re thrilled to share a huge win for the DataBiologics community—a subset of our real-world outcomes data has been independently analyzed by one of the top academic institutions in the country.
A team of physicians and statisticians at NYU Langone Health conducted a retrospective analysis of PRP treatment data from our registry, and their findings were recently accepted by the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
🔍 What They Found:
- Patients with knee osteoarthritis who received PRP early in the disease course (Kellgren-Lawrence Grade I–II) showed significant improvements in pain and function at 6 and 12 months.
- These results were based on real-world patient-reported outcomes from 300 de-identified records in the DataBiologics registry.
- The study validates that early intervention is effective—and our registry is one of the first to demonstrate this on a national scale.
This is exactly the kind of impact we envisioned when building DataBiologics: empowering providers with real-world evidence and accelerating findings based on this evidence.
