Waste-to-Energy and Space Exploration: Could Zero-X Tech Power the Next Mars Colony?

Hi everyone,

Today, we’re stepping a bit into the future. While our core focus remains here on Earth, we’ve been thinking big—really big.

With NASA, SpaceX, and others actively developing circular resource systems for long-duration space missions, we started asking ourselves:

Could Zero-X's waste-to-energy technology one day help power off-Earth settlements?

Our X-150 machine already transforms waste into clean hydrogen, and produces biochar—a carbon-rich byproduct with a range of environmental benefits. These features make it especially interesting for space, where self-sufficient energy and waste recycling are essential.

We’re not saying Zero-X is launching to Mars next year (though we wouldn’t say no ), but the adaptability and self-sufficiency of our systems open real doors to high-impact partnerships—both on and off the planet.

Meanwhile, back on Earth 🌍:

• We’re preparing for our first commercial deployment.

• We’re on track to generate $1M in revenue in the next 6 months.

• We're actively exploring key markets in Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, Ghana, and Thailand.

• Our Carbon Capture Forrent model makes advanced carbon reduction tech more accessible than ever.

The future is clean, circular, and possibly interplanetary—and we’re proud to be building the tech that makes it possible.

Personally, I don't think that we should be looking at Mars to habit into the future or as a possible planet to live on....
Totally hear you, and that’s exactly why we’re talking about it. Mars might not be the ultimate goal, but exploring bold ideas pushes us forward. It is about driving innovation that solves problems here on Earth too. Space challenges us to think bigger and that we believe will benefit everyone.
Good one - think big. Are you considering patents?
