We are excited to announce our second fundraising campaign for Hempitecture. Currently, our campaign is in Friends and Family Mode. We want our community to be the first to get the opportunity to invest, which is why we are writing you today.

Before we dive into the opportunity of this next fundraising round, let's take a look at where we came from, and where we are headed.

In 2021, we launched our first fundraising campaign on Wefunder. We raised over $4.6 million from over 1,800 forward-thinking investors on the platform with a promise to build the first hemp insulation manufacturing facility in the United States.

We delivered on that promise:

Working with our advisors, engineering team, and international partners, we commissioned our manufacturing facility in 2023. Here, inside of our facility, we became the first to market with low-carbon hemp insulation.

Since commissioning our manufacturing line, we have made a measurable impact. We're serving projects from coast to coast, using millions of pounds of hemp fiber, capturing carbon dioxide, and producing thousands of square feet of insulation daily. All of this is helping restore rural agriculture at scale, and enabling industrial hemp cultivation to re-emerge as an agricultural commodity in the United States.

This is just the beginning. There is so much more to come.

Hempitecture has been working hard at innovating new products to reduce the impact of the built environment on our world. Today, we produce our flagship HempWool® insulation, but we are launching numerous new products into 2024. Take a look at where we are headed with our product roadmap:

We're engineering a new class of high-performance, low carbon materials.

We call this the ClimateSmart Enclosure. By combining our products in an assembly, it's possible to achieve high performance with less impact. No need for highly carbon intensive, petrochemical based materials.

Why Invest?

Hempitecture is working hard to bring all of these solutions to market. There is more behind the scenes that's helping to amplify our impact.

Recently, Hempitecture was awarded a $1.1 million contract from NYSERDA, The New York State Energy Resource Development Authority, with the goal of developing a novel biobased insulation. This will enable Hempitecture to expand our product offerings with a product that is complementary to our existing product line.

The time is now to supercharge our efforts, expand our footprint, accelerate material performance testing, increase marketing visibility, and plan our second facility.

Here's how we will use funds:

• Purchase 2nd manufacturing line for east coast manufacturing hub
• Lease ~40k sqft of industrial space for east coast manufacturing hub
• Supply chain development in coordination with fiber supply partners
• Accelerate code compliance testing for new product offerings that we are launching in 2024
• Accelerate marketing efforts to gain additional traction in bioinsulance space
• Add distribution locations to lower landed-cost to customers, increasing customer acquisition rate
• Develop blowable, loosefill hemp insulation, build prototype (small scale) production line in existing Idaho factory
• Scale prototype line for full scale installation in east coast factory
