Just a quick update from The Battery Show in Novi, Michigan.
Dave DeMuro, CTO, and Alex Livingston, President, are representing Joule Case at the biggest event focused on batteries. The Battery Show brings together engineers, business leaders, top-industry companies, and innovative thinkers to discover ground-breaking products and create powerful solutions for the future.
Yesterday, Dave was featured on a speaking panel alongside other experts from Intel, Dell, and Microsoft outlining solutions for delivering fast and full battery charging with minimal battery degradation.
Today, Alex takes the stage to discuss our point-of-view on the future of Electric Vehicle infrastructure and how batteries are the key technology to ensuring critical charging access.
Here's the description: As skyrocketing gas prices meet surging EV demand, already tenuous electrical grids will be overwhelmed. As a leading source for level 3 chargers, gas stations will need to further expand to stay relevant. These efforts will be constrained by a reliance on grid power and pricing. Even a wholesale shift to solar will decrease dependence, but won't fully meet looming energy demand. Energy storage is needed. Specifically, mobile energy storage is needed. A recent patent gives Joule Case, who has experience deploying batteries ranging from portable to trailer-sized, the ability to make mobile energy storage more viable than ever before. Hear from patent grantee and Joule Case President Alex Livingston on plans to deploy large-scale batteries – both on-site and delivered/rotated – to give fuel stations the ability to gain a competitive edge and meet upcoming electricity demand, remove utility dependence and retail pricing with solar plus storage.
Big things ahead for Joule Case and our presence at The Battery Show is further proof of category leadership.
