OTHER NEWS

Business is typically slow in January and February in the liquor business after the holiday season hangover, but we are hard at work finding new distribution and new sales channels.  

We are currently launching in Florida, and James is down there with our sales broker out selling into new accounts as I type this.  Currently they are focused on the Orlando region, hitting a bunch of Disney locations today.  In fact, they just successfully sold GinQuila into the Hard Rock gin bar, Velvet, replacing Sipsmith Gin on their menu. Hooray!

Next month, we will be launching in Georgia with Craft Distributors.  Georgia pays COD  (which is enormously rare in this business!) and are starting with a full pallet of each product, so that'll be a nice order to start out with, along with a high incentive to sell it!  James will be in market down there in another couple of weeks to help launch.

We received word that we were approved in Maine and Vermont through the state control agencies, which reminds me that I need to send them a back label revision that includes bottle deposit refund text.  Not exactly sure when those will go live, but there you are...

Last, but not least.. we have agreed to launch in the State of Texas with Texas TRU distribution.  We sent off the permit paperwork , but we're told it can take up to 120 days for them to process the Non Resident Seller permits, due to COVID and work-at-home restrictions.  But we're hopeful that will sail through quicker.  We'll keep you updated!
