The Cookie Department will be featured in a new HGTV reality show called Self Made Mansions hosted by Clinton Kelly from TLC's What Not to Wear and ABC's The Chew.  Our episode is airing on January 1st, 2021 at 6:30pm PST and will be replayed four additional times throughout the month.  The show is about entrepreneurs who purchase their first homes and The Cookie Department story and product line will be front and center. 

The Producer’s did a nice job telling our brand story and all the work we have done, with your amazing support, to build our brand. That said, Reality TV, even when unscripted, has a storyline that is often predetermined by the Producers to help engage the viewer. In our case, the narrative was that based on TCD's growth my wife and I were able to purchase our first home, featured in the episode, for cash. The accurate story is that we did purchase the home outright, though we were only able to do so with the financial support from family, unrelated to TCD. Of course, I understand why the Producers took this liberty, but I wanted to make sure that you, my partners, were fully aware of the facts before watching the episode. I would hate for there to be any misunderstanding between us. The show is a wonderful promotion for TCD and our ongoing marketing growth strategy and we hope you get a chance to watch it.
