Hi Guys,

It's been a few weeks since our last update and we didn't want to let it go too long. Obviously you know there are a TON of things that go into getting a new location up and running! We have to transform this large empty space into a new "headquarters" for Harmony Turbines.

The laundry list of things that need to be completed can be overwhelming when you think about it but you have to just take things one step at a time. That's what we're doing.

  • Signing Lease and legal documents
  • Mailbox and mail accommodations.
  • Payroll filing with federal and state
  • Getting electrical quotes / bids and scheduling installation. That includes 480v, 208v & 110v so all 3 need to be planned and installed properly for our facility to function well.
  • Getting building and general carpentry quotes for finishing walls and securing the area
  • Plumbing and building of bathroom (simple toilet and sink) as well as scrub sink outside of bathroom for an open hand wash station.
  • Broadband Internet for CAD and computer work. OnShape is an online CAD program so we need to ensure proper internet connectivity.
  • Equipment ...initially just welding and workbenches as well as simple fabrication equipment. We will add more equipment as we grow organically but that's our plan to help keep things lean in the beginning.
  • Some computer and office equipment for simple day-to-day needs that we will have.

There are probably another 10 things that could be added to this list but you get the picture! It's a LOT and it has to happen very quickly so we can have a smooth transition and keep the momentum rolling.

The 1kw prototype is a formidable size (about 16' tall) so we have to ensure we have a proper facility to put these together safely and efficiently! That's why we are taking this very important next step and getting setup in our new facility. This gives us room to do whatever we need for low volume production of our various residential sized units. We are probably looking at 1kW, 3kW & 5kW units as I have stated before.

OK that's all for now, more pictures to come as we install the electrical and begin getting the space transformed ...right now there's just nothing to take pictures or video of. -But please know that good and necessary work is being done as swiftly as possible.
