Did you know that 15% of our world population experiences some form of disability? That's 1.2 billion people! Sadly, this global estimate for disability will keep growing, due to our aging population, the rapid spread of chronic diseases, as well as improvements in the methodologies used to measure disability.

Of that 1.2 billion, 75 million people need a wheelchair on a daily basis. As we educate ourselves on the subject of disability, the need for creating a more accessible world becomes undoubtedly evident.
