PersonalRX recently celebrated a new milestone by onboarding our first patients with reimbursement from Florida Medicaid.

It was just September that our pharmacy received notification from the Agency for Health Care Administration approving our provider enrollment in the Florida Medicaid program.

The wheels were set in motion this past summer, when a B2B client in the insurance industry requested that PersonalRX support members of a unique program of theirs. Our participation was contingent upon our ability to be reimbursed by Florida Medicaid.

Our client’s program is high-touch and utilizes staff pharmacists to support patients in need of extra care, including concerns about medication adherence.

Our enrollment application indicated that the adherence packaging and special services provided by PersonalRX differ from those offered by other pharmacies available to serve this population.

While this first set of new patients are members of our client’s plan, being a fully enrolled provider in the Florida Medicaid program opens up new opportunities for PersonalRX to serve a wider variety of Florida patients we acquire through other marketing channels as well.
