The Marketplace! New feature coming next year along with two other major ones.
There are three major features coming to Linkio next year that will make our app even more unique. I’ll disclose only one at this time and it is the Marketplace!
You probably have seen it in many other apps and platforms, but at Linkio, we always looking to do things differently. In the upcoming Marketplace, users will not only buy and sell items but will be able to RENT tools as well. Let me give you an example:
A client posts a job “Need to pressure clean my driveway”. Providers with the equipment make offers right away, but a few more wish they had a pressure washer to jump into the bidding as well. Sure, they can go to a retail store and rent one, but how much profit will they get afterward? And although there might be at least 20 pressure washing machines around them on their neighbors’ garages, none of them knew they needed one! :(
In the new marketplace, a neighbor will take a picture of his or her pressure washer, will enter the model, the price per day or per hour, availability, and that’s it! Now when a pressure cleaning job is posted, those making offers will see a hint with the related tools available for rent from their neighbors. It will be fast, convenient, and affordable. They will be able to see on the map around them, compare prices, and even make offers to negotiate the asking price! Providers won’t even have to pay upfront to rent these tools as the cost will be automatically deducted from their payout. Sweet!
They will tap to make sure is available, will pick it up within blocks from them, will take a picture when picked up and dropped off, and will earn money by completing jobs they otherwise couldn’t.
This will be used to rent a pick-up truck to move a piece of furniture, to rent ladders, drills, and all those hundreds of dollars tolls we purchased 5 years ago, only used once, and are now collecting dust in our garages. We’ll share more details in the near future, but this shows you that we are barely scratching the surface of Linkio! There are two huge new features that we’ll announce when the time is right that will change the way larger companies operate. The service industry is about to be revolutionized. Thank you, Jose! Yes, the marketplace will be amazing! It won't be like what you are used to, believe me. In regards to promoting your business, remember that in Linkio the client is who requests the service. You just need to create a strong profile, and when we notify you about a service request, you can send your offer directly to the client. You can send as many offers as you like for FREE. We only charge a small fee when you complete a job, never for leads!
We are resuming marketing at the end of this week with the latest update, so get ready to start receiving new jobs! The next update will give you more tools to create a nicer profile with your own pictures, reviews from past clients outside Linkio, and much better designs. By the end of October, version 3 will be finally complete and our marketing expenditure will increase dramatically. Very exciting times are coming for Linkio!
