Hi friends, film lovers and investors,

The inspiration for Snake Oil Song began two years ago in Peru. As our team prepares and waits for the ability to make movies safely again, I've written an essay on my time spent in the jungle with Werner Herzog and 47 other filmmakers in the Amazon jungle. Today we're on the front page of on one of my favorite outlets Talkhouse Film. A weird time to reflect on another time, another world, another life, but here it is. Big thanks to Talkhouse editor Nick Dawson for pushing me to write in a time when it often felt like the last thing I wanted to do.
