Shark Wheel's newest innovation solves a long-standing issue in the printing industry. From flexography to wide-web printers, to narrow-web printers and various other segments of the printing industry, material staying centered during production is a major challenge. Once the machine inevitably starts printing off=center, tension rods are used to stretch the material in an attempt to keep it centered. This creates down time and a loss of profits.

Shark Wheel invented a solution that can retrofit all existed 'retraction rollers' (essentially just wheels) inside of printing machines. By applying Shark Tape onto an existing rollers, operators can transform their machines into more efficient printers. Tape is a consumable product, creating recurring revenue for each Shark Tape sale. After initial testing showed a significant 20% improvement in reducing tension, it was time to enter production. It took Shark Wheel nearly 4 months to find a cost-effective manufacturing solution and the beautiful results of Shark Tape are shown below. Final tests have begun to make sure the tape is ready for mass production.
