We have a big announcement coming next week, and wanted to give our Legion M investors an early heads up (not to mention first dibs on tickets)!

On Tuesday, Legion M will announce that we're partnering with the Saturn Awards to create an entirely new award -- the "Legion M Breakout Director Award" -- debuting at the 45th annual Saturn Awards show on Friday, September 13, in Hollywood.

If you aren't familiar with the Saturns, they have been given out since 1973 by the Academy of Science-Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Entertainment each year to the best and brightest genre films, TV shows, stage shows and home entertainment productions. Unlike the Oscars and the Emmys, these awards have never been broadcast before, but instead take place in an intimate, invitation-only ceremony for Hollywood insiders.

This year, for the first time in its 45 year history, the Saturns will be streamed live online to a global audience, and Legion M will be a part of it!

• Legion M members will vote to select the winner of the new "Legion M Break Out Director Award for the best first-time director of a Science-Fiction, Fantasy, or Horror film.
• Legion M will present the "Breakout Director Award" during the ceremony, which will be streamed globally online.
• Legion M has a limited number of exclusive tickets to the invitation-only award ceremony (plus a pre-show cocktail reception and a VIP after-party) September 13th at the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood. The Saturn Awards are an intimate industry, invitation-only affair -- last year's guests included Mark Hamill, Zoe Saldana, Jason Blum, Ryan Coogler, Vince Gilligan, Gal Gadot, David Lynch, and over 300 other of the genre’s biggest TV and film stars and creators. It has never been open to the public, and there is absolutely no other way to get tickets than here. We're going to give away 2 of these tickets to Legion M members via lottery, and the rest are available for Legion M members to purchase in our store.

Be on the lookout for an email with your official ballot next week. You will have until 11:59 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, September 11, to cast your vote. In the meantime, we wanted to give you a heads up so you can get a head start watching the films this holiday weekend!
