How Our Robots will become a Platform for Thousands of Features

When Apple announced the first ever iPhone, they understood something about their product that most consumers didn't at the time. They knew that the point of the iPhone was for it to be a supercomputer with millions of features at the tips of your fingers. Back then, the idea sounded far fetched to many. Famously, Verizon refused to carry the first iPhone because they didn't see a market for it. Of course since then, people have completely embraced smartphones and most can't imagine living without one.

We want to do the same thing for robots. A robot does not have to be limited to a single practical use. When you have an ecosystem between smartphones and robots, it allows you to always update the robot's feature set.

This article shows one example of a future application that's currently being developed. Keep in mind that this accessory is in the early stages of development and will not be ready for at least another year.
