Epec -James FC Hyde Sorgho Whiskey Breaks Into Giant Texas Chain SPEC'S
SPEC'S is Added to Texas Chain "Total Wine" With Rollout to Six Key Stores
April 28, 2019 - Sales momentum of James FC Hyde Sorgho Whiskey continues in the great state of Texas with SPEC'S, a giant retail chain with over 100 locations statewide, adding Sorgho Whiskey to six of its key stores. The six stores:
- SPEC'S - DE ZAVALA; 5219 De Zavala Rd; San Antonio, TX 78249
SPEC'S - LUBBOCK; 6816 Slide Rd #12; Lubbock, TX 79424
SPEC'S - DALLAS; 9500 N Central Expy; Dallas, TX 75231
SPEC'S - BRODIE LANE; 4970 W US Hwy 290; Austin, TX 78735
SPEC'S - ARBOR WALK; 10515 N Mopac Expy; Austin, TX 78759
SPEC'S - CLAYPOINT; 8830 Clay Road; Houston, TX 77080
"With over 100 stores statewide, landing our first six SPEC'S stores is a great opportunity for statewide expansion," commented Epec Holdings Executive Chairman Steve Vanechanos.
"With Lubbock being the home of our industry partners National Sorghum Producers and United Sorghum Checkoff Program, and the nearest Total Wine store hours away, we're not surprised by SPEC'S LUBBOCK being one of the first six stores chosen. The other five locations are all major markets: Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas, markets in which Total Wine does compete. Let the competition ensue and may the best chain win," Vanechanos continued.
A special note to our whiskey loving owners / investors. Especially those Texas residents who are able to go into SPEC'S and Total Wine and: 1) pull Sorgho Whiskey off the shelf by directly purchasing it; 2) sample it with the friends and family; and 3) in general spread the word of our "whiskey like no other" bringing more faithfuls to our cause.
The quickest way to accomplish our two big goals in Texas now: 1) get into Total Wine's Spirits Direct Program; and 2) penetrate the other nearly 100 SPEC'S stores statewide; is for Total Wine and SPEC'S to see substantial retail sales volume. We know it might be asking for too much, but we also know many owners really want to help in any way they can. So the way we see it, we owe our owners clear direction on how they can help, and if they can do it, great, if not that's great too.
