To Encourage the Use of IRA Funds, Wefunder Has Agreed to Waive Its Transaction Fees for IRA Investors

April 17, 2019 - As our Beta Test of the new AltoIRA funding option nears its end, Wefunder has agreed to waive all of its transaction fees for investors that take advantage of the new IRA funding option.

"The decision to waive the regular 3% transaction fee on IRA funds is both a benefit and savings to investors and a simplification action heading toward the first closing," said Epec Executive Chairman Steve Vanechanos.  "The action to waive fees, assures investors will transfer enough funds to AltoIRA to fund their Wefunder investment order.  We're grateful for both the wisdom and generosity of Wefunder's decision to waive its transaction fees".

"We're proud to have played the historic pioneering role, of the first issuer / beta tester to actively engage with both Wefunder and AltoIRA to bring the potential of patient IRA capital to life in our Reg-CF offering.  I expect many more offerings will accept IRA funds in the not so distant future," Vanechanos continued.

"With Wefunder waiving its fees, and our campaign entering its final two weeks, we expect more investors / potential investors will turn to their IRA accounts to fund investment in our "Whiskey like no other"."

A reminder, with all this attention being paid to IRA funding, we want to clearly state all other prior funding methods are still in order for our offering.  With less than two weeks remaining, it's a good time for those considering an initial investment or additional investment, with IRA funds or otherwise, to act while there's still time.
