The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost eight of their last 11 games and they will be hoping to snap a three-game skid after falling to the Celtics in a 116-106 home loss on Tuesday. Collin Sexton led the team with 24 points, Jordan Clarkson provided the spark off the bench with 18 points and five assists while Cedi Osman chipped in with 15 points.

As a team, the Cavaliers shot 48 percent from the field and nine of 28 from the 3-point line as they hung with the shorthanded Celtics from start to finish, but they could’ve done with more production from Kevin Love who finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds and four assists on just three of 13 shooting. With the loss, Cleveland fell to 19-56 overall and 13-26 at home.Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs were on an absolute tear during their nine-game win streak, but they’ve cooled off with three losses in their last four games after falling to the Hornets in a 125-116 overtime road loss on Tuesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 30 points, eight rebounds and four assists, LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points with 15 rebounds and four assists while Marco Belinelli chipped in with 17 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. As a team, the Spurs shot just 40 percent from the field and 13 of 39 from the 3-point line, but the problem was their defense as they just had no answer for Kemba Walker who scored 11 of his 39 points in overtime. With the tough loss, San Antonio fell to 43-32 overall and 14-24 on the road which is good for eighth place in the Western Conference standings.Looking at the betting trends, the Cavaliers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a double-digit loss at home, 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record. The Spurs are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games, 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games following a loss and 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.Head to head, the over is 12-5 in the last 17 meetings, the underdog is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the Cavaliers are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings. These two teams have yet to meet this season, but it’s no surprise where these teams currently stand as the Cavaliers have been losing games left and right, while the Spurs are getting ready for another playoff run. The Spurs haven’t been at their best lately as they’ve lost three of their last four games, but I have a feeling they will be up for this game as the Spurs will be retiring Manu Ginobili’s jersey, so I have the Spurs running away with this one.
