Building the Next National Meat Brand: Real Craft, Real Flavor

A note from George...

In 2017, I took a leap. I wanted to change the way people think about charcuterie and deli meats, not as mass-produced, flavorless afterthoughts, but as real craft, real flavor foods that belong in every kitchen.

I didn’t have deep pockets or corporate backing. I had a vision, persistence, and a belief that we could do better. That’s how Turchetti’s started: as a small butcher shop in Indianapolis, proving that great meats don’t need shortcuts.

In 2019, Forbes recognized my work by naming me to their 30 Under 30 in Food & Drink, one of the youngest USDA plant owners in the country at the time. We’ve grown since then, weathered the challenges of the pandemic, and doubled down on what matters most: making high-quality, chef-driven deli meats and charcuterie at scale.

But Turchetti’s is more than a business to me. It is something I have built with my own hands. I framed the walls, designed our USDA production facility, and turned an empty building into a fully operational plant. We secured a 10+ year lease with first rights to purchase, protecting our future as we scale into a national brand.

Today, Turchetti’s is at a turning point. Demand is outpacing what we can produce, new distribution partnerships are underway, and retail launches are expanding our footprint. This investment will allow us to scale production, automate key processes, and put Turchetti’s on shelves nationwide.

We’ve bootstrapped from day one. Now we are inviting you to be part of the next stage, helping us take Turchetti’s from a fast-growing craft brand to a national household name.

—George Turkette

Invest in the Future of Premium, Shelf-Stable Meats. Turchetti’s is setting a new standard for real craft and real flavor in salami and deli meats, making them more accessible nationwide. With a USDA-certified facility, strong brand recognition, and increasing demand from wholesale, grocery, and foodservice partners, we are ready to scale nationally.

We’re raising capital to increase production, automate key processes, and meet growing demand. Now is the time to join us as we scale nationally and bring better charcuterie to the masses.

Problem & Opportunity

Most deli meats and charcuterie are mass-produced with fillers and poor flavor. Quality takes a back seat to cost-cutting, leaving buyers frustrated and consumers underserved.

  1. Legacy brands focus on efficiency over flavor, producing bland, unhealthy products.
  2. Small-batch makers create superior meats but lack the ability to scale nationally.
  3. Chefs, retailers, and consumers want authentic products with real craft and real flavor, but there is no supplier meeting that demand at scale.

Turchetti’s bridges the gap: delivering craft-quality meats with the scale and reliability the market demands.

Market Stats:

  1. The U.S. meat market is a $215 billion category, with $120 billion in deli meats, salami, and co-packing where Turchetti’s is focused.
  2. Over 60% of consumers actively seek clean-label, high-quality deli meats and charcuterie.
  3. Increasing food safety scrutiny is creating new challenges for mass producers, while opening the door for premium, craft brands like Turchetti’s.

The Opportunity? No company is owning the premium, shelf-stable meat space at scale - until now.

The Turchetti’s Solution

  1. We produce real craft, real flavor meats at a scale that no other premium brand is reaching.
  2. Our USDA-certified production facility gives us full control over quality, safety, and growth capacity.
  3. We are expanding through automation and efficiency, streamlining production while preserving chef-driven flavor and premium standards.
  4. Alongside our branded products, we’re capturing new revenue through co-packing partnerships, trusted by other premium meat companies.
  5. We are building a national brand consumers love and retailers trust, positioned to lead the premium deli and charcuterie category.

What Makes Us Different?

  1. Craft Quality at Scale – Artisan techniques combined with scalable production deliver real craft and real flavor.
  2. USDA-Certified Facility – Full control of quality, safety, and growth capacity.
  3. Proven Demand – 7+ years in business, consistently validating consumer and wholesale appetite.
  4. Recognized in Indianapolis – Operated a beloved retail presence for 7 years, proving we can build a brand that consumers love and carry that equity into national expansion.
  5. Scalable Distribution – Shipping DTC to 31 states and expanding through 8+ distributor partners.
  6. Multi-Channel Revenue – Wholesale, retail, and co-packing drive predictable growth.
  7. Recognized Leadership – Founder named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in Food & Drink.
  8. Community & Brand Impact – Engaged consumer base and a trusted voice in better meat consumption.

Traction & Business Performance

We’re not just starting out—we’ve already built a solid foundation:

  1. Signed ~$2.74M in deals across wholesale and co-manufacturing, with an additional ~$4.42M in active pipeline.
  2. Retail expansion underway with launches at Needler’s, Niemann Harvest Market, and Moody’s Butcher Shops, with additional distributor relationships in place and new accounts rolling out, including a California launch later this year.
  3. 2oz convenience trays launching in Q2 2026 across Indiana retailers, on our website, and into California.
  4. Expanded production team to support increased capacity and meet growing demand.
  5. Facility secured with a 10+ year lease and first right of refusal to purchase.
  6. Good Food Awards 2026 finalist (Calabrese salami), validating product quality at a national level.
  7. Hired first sales manager, building out internal sales leadership to support growth.
  8. New branding launched: transitioned to Turchetti’s Meats with tagline Real Craft. Real Flavor.
  9. New packaging launched, built for retail shelves and designed to elevate brand presence.
  10. Expanded USDA-certified facility to increase capacity, streamline operations, and support national growth.

Trailing 12-Month Revenue: $445,000+

Projected Revenue & Profitability: Projections based on current growth trends, secured contracts, and market potential. Actual results may vary

  1. 2026: $1.5 million revenue | $250,000 profit
  2. 2027: $3 million revenue | $600,000 profit
  3. 2030: $20 million revenue | $5 million profit

Since 2017, we’ve grown Turchetti’s through bootstrapped efforts, reinvesting every dollar back into production and growth. Our transition from a beloved local retail shop to a USDA-certified national producer shows we can scale, while staying true to our commitment to real craft, real flavor meats that consumers and retailers trust.

How Our Convertible Note Works for Investors

This investment is structured as a convertible note, meaning investors receive 5% annual interest and their investment converts into equity at a future funding event, rather than being a fixed return or revenue-share deal.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Interest Rate: 5% simple interest per year, accruing until conversion or maturity.
  2. Discount for Early Investors: 10% discount on the share price at the next qualified equity round ($500,000+ in new investment).
  3. Valuation Cap: $2.5 million—meaning your investment converts at this valuation if the next round is priced higher.
  4. Maturity Date: April 1, 2027—if no priced round occurs before this date, the note converts into equity at the valuation cap.

Example of a Potential Investor Scenario

  1. If you invest $10,000, and we raise a future equity round at a $5M valuation, your note converts at $2.5M valuation (due to the cap).
  2. You would get twice as much equity compared to new investors at the $5M valuation.
  3. Your accrued interest (5% per year) is either paid in cash or added to your investment at conversion.

This structure is designed to reward early investors with lower entry prices and more equity upside, aligning our success with yours.

A Clear Path to a CPG Exit

Our long-term goal is to build Turchetti’s into a nationwide grocery brand and position ourselves for an acquisition by a larger food conglomerate or a strategic CPG exit. As we scale production, expand into more retailers, and solidify our brand presence, we will be well-positioned for a lucrative exit opportunity that benefits our early investors.
