Product Discovery. Intuitive.
Imagine entering a fashion store where a knowledgeable salesperson immediately presents items that match your personal style.
This is the experience Styleriser brings to e-commerce through its API, providing personalized and efficient product recommendations that seamlessly align with each user's style.

Buyers are undecided about what suits them.
Fashion retailers are facing major hurdles with
- low conversion rates of 2.5-5%
- cart abandonment of 70%
- return rates between 30 and 55%
- $218 BN in apparel product returned per year
The root cause for this misery is customer uncertainty about the suitability of products. Be it color, cut, size or fabric - it remains difficult for online shoppers to imagine whether the piece will suit them when they unpack their cargo.

Styleriser solves this problem by providing product recommendations for each shopper based on a professional style analysis, which leads to better choices and increased user confidence in purchasing items that perfectly fit the user's styles and personality.
By using Styleriser, retailers can increase conversions 2 to 3 times, significantly reduce abandonment rates and product returns, and drive greater revenue and customer satisfaction.
Enter: StyleIQ
StyleIQ is a subscription based B2B SaaS product made available to retailers via API and integrates seamlessly into any shop system.

Using StyleIQ is as easy as uploading a selfie from within the regular shop environment of any participating fashion retailer. Upon upload StyleIQ performs a professional facial analysis and re-generates the shop page immediately displaying products that absolutely match the style of the particular user. If users choose so they can save and refine their style profile for future shopping trips.

Market Entry & PoC with $75K
Based on many talks with retailers and VCs we know that data-backed proof of concept [well, the lack thereof] is what currently stands in the way for Styleriser’s invention to be implemented by legacy retailers, and equally, to get Series A investment.

The purpose of this ECF campaign therefor is raising the funding to wrap this technology into a Shopify app (development cost) and pushing it aggressively into the Shopify app market (marketing cost) in order to generate the user data proving our core value proposition:
- Robust increase of conversion rate: 2 or 3x 🚀
- Significant decrease of cart abandonments: -20-35% 🛒
- Massive reduction of bad buys & returns: -20% 📦
A large and fast growing Market
StyleIQ falls into the following categories:
- The personalization software market: $10-18BN, 20,4% CAGR (360iResearch, Brainy)
- The virtual shopping assistant market: $630M, 30-33% CAGR (Polaris, Credence, Coherent)
- The recommendation engine market: $7BN, ca 38% CAGR (Mordor, VMR)
Styleriser is leveraging AI to deliver hyper-personalized shopping experiences. A key aspect of this approach is dynamic content/product display, which adapts in real-time based on user interactions on e-commerce platforms. This approach not only enhances the personalization but also significantly boosts user engagement and conversion rates.
It is well documented that users expect more personalization and that retailers invest heavily into this category:
- 80% of customers are more likely to purchase from a company that offers personalized experiences (Epsilon and GBH Insights, McKinsey)
- 43% of surveyed executives are investing in hybrid experiences to increase personalization and make their offerings more innovative (Deloitte)
- 88% of larger businesses are planning to offer more intuitive ways to interact with customers. (Acxiom)
- 80% of marketers say customer experience is the key competitive differentiator (Salesforce)
Financial forecast

While Shopify is one of the most used e-commerce platforms worldwide it is also true that many larger retailers use other systems. As we plan to enter the fashion market via smaller and mid-size Shopify retailers we are aware that the greater earning potential is found with larger retailers which we expect to be ready to engage with around mid 2025 (M Retailer in the above chart).
Future Valuation by the example of "Daydream"
Daydream is reimagining the shopping experience without having to fill out search parameters, very much like Styleriser. But instead of a portrait upload and professional analysis Daydream uses natural language to generate product suggestions for their users.
Daydream is at least two funding rounds ahead of Styleriser and has the advantage of being founded by e-commerce veteran Julie Bornstein, who has held executive positions at companies like Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Sephora and Stitch Fix. The fact that Daydream received $50M funding nevertheless demonstrates the potential significance of Styleriser’s proprietary invention.
