Qnetic is a grid scale energy storage solution so it needs to connect to the grid [High Voltage or Medium Voltage] and have a to do so through a substation/transformer. Hello Samuela, thank you for you questions. The rotor is made of high strength and lightweight composite material. The detail of the material composition cannot be disclosed here. It is expected to last 20 years or 15000 cycles with 2 full loads per day. The rotor spins at 8000 RPM and is supported by magnetic cushions. The top bearing supports the system axially and radially while the bottom bearing supports the system only radially.
