Our team understands the challenges and rewards of creating an engaged global community and audience for a team. Growing ticket sales, new fans, additional merchandise revenue and much more are all possible when the fan base is active, engaged and growing. 

In 2019, the Plus.Fan team started working with the new ownership group at FCPS to assist their team with growing their global fan community. FCPS, a small market team with ambitions to achieve promotion, upgrade the club and invest in the

Through trial and error, the FCPS community grew into a network of 600 fan owners across 48 states and 21 countries.

Fans are demanding more insider access, behind-the-scenes content and exclusive event invitations from their favorite teams. From sporting events to concerts, not only are fans asking teams for more access, but consumers have shown that they are willing to pay for extra access and membership.


Generational Shift In Spending

The generational shift and buying power of the next generation of sports fan is creating opportunities for teams to capture new revenues. 

According to a survey by Venngage, 40% of millennials have spent more than $500 for premium or VIP ticket packages at live sporting events.

We've found that teams each are using Plus.Fan in unique ways from delivering members only zoom calls and streaming games to connecting game giveaways and sharing exclusive video.

NETWORK GROWTH


With a global fan user base, each new team added to Plus.Fan adds more users to the community. Each fan can discover new teams and leagues to follow helping to drive organic growth across the network.

As a new team joins Plus.Fan, a new collection of existing super fans and season ticket holders is added into the Plus.Fan network. During the onboarding process, Plus.Fan, new fan relationships are built and existing Plus.Fan members are introduced to the new club through network marketing campaigns.



The Plus.Fan community gives fans the opportunity to connect with both leagues and individual teams across multiple sports and geographies. 

According to a 2023 Pew Research study more than 40% of sports fans follow two or more sports and 72% of Americans identify as sports fans. The opportunity for national and regional leagues to engage with and acquire new fans is immense.


Plus.Fan began as a custom set of services and technology for a single team. The platform has evolved into a single integrated technology solution and playbook supporting teams across the globe.

Launched in January 2024 with Carrick Rangers FC, Plus.Fan has quickly signed 6 more teams in multiple sports. 

In addition to the initial set of teams, the team is running a pilot program for a North American soccer league.



All fundraising proceeds will be focused on building our technical development team, enhancing the platform for future versions based on customer feedback and adding sales support staff.


We’re a team of sports fans and season-ticket holders - baseball, soccer/football and basketball. But, we’re also experienced software-as-a-service and eCommerce industry veterans. A group of technology leaders that has built, marketed and exited successfully after building successful software products. 

Beyond technology, our experience as part of the founding team at Fan Owned Club provided an opportunity to create a unique fan experience as part of a growing global ownership and management group.



Use of Funds

We’ll use the capital raised to continue building and scaling our technology, enhancing our product offerings, and expanding our team to support rapid growth. This includes improving our AI-driven tools, adding new features to the platform, and onboarding more teams to meet the growing demand for fan engagement. Additionally, funds will help us refine our product to create seamless experiences for fans and teams alike, while positioning Plus Fan for long-term scalability and success in the global sports tech market.

Valuation

It’s worth noting that we could have raised at a much higher valuation, given the strong market for fan engagement and sports AI tech companies, often raising at 15-50X contracted revenues. However, we chose to price this round conservatively because we value our retail investor community. As a team with multiple successful exits, we believe this approach creates significant upside potential for every investor.
