A Convertible Note is debt that converts to equity. If you invest, you're betting Original Brands will be worth more than $18M in the future.
As a former Navy pilot, founder Mike Sadler has witnessed firsthand the profound sacrifices made by service members, first responders and their families. This personal connection drives Original Brands' commitment to organizations like Folds of Honor that serve our veterans and first responders. With our growth of Original Glory across America, we pledge to dedicate a portion of our proceeds to support these heroes through both national and local organizations. It's our way of honoring those who defend our nation's original glory every day.
Q1: What are you most proud of from your time in the Navy?
My time in the Navy during Desert Shield and Desert Storm was certainly significant, but what stands out the most was experiencing the profound sacrifice of my fellow service members and having served alongside exceptional men and women in our military. These individuals consistently sacrifice time with their families and often pass up more lucrative civilian opportunities because they're committed to serving our nation. Their dedication, selflessness, more than anything else, represents what made my naval service meaningful.
Q2: What inspired you to create a new beer brand?
I created this brand because I saw how divided our nation has become. As a small brewery, we set out with a big vision: to create an American beer that could bring Americans together. We believe that sharing a beer can bring people together, a chance to celebrate what unites us rather than what divides us. Our goal is simple - to create a national brand that honrs and celebrates our shared love of America, one beer at a time.
Q3: Which beer is your favorite?
The OG Light. It's light, crisp, and I hate to say it, but you could drink it all day.
Q4: What does Original Glory mean to you?
Original Glory represents the rekindling of something we once had - a natural, deeply-felt love for our country. It reminds me of a time when patriotism was woven into the fabric of everyday American life, when pride in our nation came easily and naturally to us all. To me, the term symbolizes a return to that genuine, heartfelt connection to our American identity.
Q5: How did you come up with the name Original Glory?
Original Glory was born from our desire to create a distinctly American beer that celebrates patriotism. While initially named Old Glory, inspired by a historic flag now housed in the Smithsonian - one that sailed the world's oceans and survived the Civil War - we evolved to Original Glory. This name better captures our mission: rekindling that pure, unifying love of country that has always been America's strength.
The national beer market is valued at over $116B and projected to grow to over $145B by 2027. Premium and super premium domestics like ours are forecasted to continue to be market leaders.
Since our introduction of Original Glory last year and the decision to enter the premium domestic beer market, we have been fostering relationships with distributors and retailers across the Southeast as well as establishing an agreement with a contract brewer who can increase our production from 100 barrels to over 3,000 barrels per month.
Reaching our fundraising goal will enable us to rapidly scale our production and distribution and explode onto the market as a regional brewer in the first phase of our growth plan, increasing our territory and valuation.
