Our Team

I've encountered many problems finding affordable and safe housing as a travel nurse. On one assignment while on night shift, my colleague was turned away by hostels due to his odd check-in time. He resorted to sleeping in his car and quit his job after two nights. I knew there had to be a better way and that's when the idea of NursesBnB was born.

Why Nursesbnb?

The Problem

And this problem is only going to get worse— the challenge that plagues our industry: the lack of affordable and reliable housing options. Many times, we are compelled to pay exorbitant prices for 90-day rentals, leaving us with little to no savings after fulfilling our contracts. Some of colleagues even fell victim to scams while searching for cheaper alternatives. This ongoing struggle reached a breaking point when I saw a fellow nurse resort to sleeping in his car due to the unavailability of reasonably priced accommodations that would accommodate his check-in time.

Here is the Solution

Nursesbnb is the solution- a game changing booking platform that comprehensively fills the gap in the market by providing a solution for medium term renters, providing housing close to hospitals, even in rural areas. Renters find us to be up to 80% more affordable than other platforms, and 100% safer. Safety is paramount when booking. Our processes are automated and complies with state and local laws. Nursesbnb team is uniquely qualified to solve the mid-term housing gap problemWe are our customers.

The Opportunity

Healthcare professionals are seeking work-life balance and a way to decrease burnout while still doing what they love. As a traveling clinician, they are working as independent contractors, this lifestyle offers more freedom of time and money while doing what they love. This market has been around since the 1980s and continues to increase year over year. According to industry reports, the global healthcare staffing market is projected to reach a staggering $43.6 billion by 2027. The market is roughly $10B with health professionals nationally and internationally booking 6 to 9 months per year.
