Since you’ve taken the time to dig deeper, I want to share more than what fits on a pitch deck by giving you some color on who we are as a company.

My career has been defined by building inside luxury industries—spaces that are creative, emotional, and historically underserved by technology. I started my first company at 22, out of my college apartment, with a team of interns and just enough naïveté to believe we could figure it out.

That belief never left.

Thirteen years later, I’m still building. I’m a founder for life, driven by vision, resilience, and a deep conviction to create something meaningful. If you know me, you know I don’t stop.

Gemist is the culmination of everything I’ve learned.

My Co-Founder and CTO, Anup, brings over 30 years of experience leading product, engineering, and innovation at companies like Adobe and Apple. He has a rare ability to operationalize complex systems, from scalable SaaS infrastructure to applied AI. He is an expert at turning vision into reality at speed and at scale.

Together, we balance vision with execution. We divide and conquer, but we are deeply aligned in how we lead: with integrity over ego, with intensity balanced by empathy, and with an unwavering focus on building something that lasts.

Our team reflects this. We’re small, scrappy, and incredibly effective. We’re a group that has worked together for years to create a foundation built on trust, emotional intelligence, and a shared commitment to doing the hard things well.

The jewelry industry is one of the most fascinating and overlooked verticals. It's complex, relationship-driven, and one of the last major industries to fully embrace digital transformation. The existing solutions are largely legacy systems, built without a deep understanding of how operational pain points connect back customer experience.

That creates a massive opportunity.

But this is not a market you can break into from the outside. It runs on trust. Change is slow, skepticism is high, and adoption only happens when solutions are built with the industry, not imposed on it.

Over the past several years, Gemist has earned that trust.

Because of that, we are the only company uniquely positioned to bring AI to the jewelry industry.

We expect to grow 4x to ~$4M in ARR over the next 18-24 months, ahead of a Series A. This is the moment where everything starts to accelerate, and we believe this will be the last opportunity to invest before that next phase.
