FLIPPED is a mockumentary about a wannabe influencer and his team attempting to shoot a documentary on flipping a run-down-house. It all goes awry when an enthusiastic squatter living in the attic takes a hammer to their plans.
We're aiming to make a fun, original comedy that audiences will tell their friends about.
FLIPPED will be a stand out mockumentary that feels like the illegitimate love child between The Cable Guy and Trailer Park Boys.
Eddie Sturdevent, a failed entrepreneur convinces his best friends Micah and Jimmy to help him renovate his first fix-and-flip property. They document the endeavor to use as a promotional video for Eddie's newest business venture.
They find themselves way in over their heads after discovering that the house is in much worse shape than Eddie was led to believe. To make matters worse, they discover Lewis, a hatchet wielding squatter livingin in the attic. His erratic and unpredictable behavior disrupt Eddie's plans and his sanity.
Despite the setbacks, the renovation continues until they find a dead body in the woods with Lewis as the prime murder suspect. With little faith in the small town police force, Eddie puts it on himself to find Lewis and bring him in while still trying to meet his renovation deadline.

As experienced filmmakers with films in active distribution, we have the conviction that the current indie business model is dying. We believe it's time for a new direction for indie cinema, and that is through Independent Distribution.
Indie Distribution brings empowers the filmmaker to own the distribution process for their film. In the past, the industrially demanding work of distributing a film took teams of people and expensive technology to get a film successfully released in movie theaters and at home. In return for fronting the capital required to release a film, distributors have (and still do) take a hefty fee.
But today, filmmakers have the means and the technology to make their films directly available to audiences. Not only that, but this can be done without compromising quality of access to the film. The audience won't even know that the filmmakers have cut out the middlemen, they will just be able to enjoy the film on their preferred terms like any other Hollywood film.
Our plan includes a limited theatrical run to major markets in the US, plus a VOD release to all major platforms like Prime Video, AppleTV, Tubi, Vudu, etc. This plan includes VOD distribution worldwide.
Since we are planning on releasing the films ourselves, we are able to realize a 30-35% gain on revenues, which would normally be eaten up by the middlemen distributors. Not only that, but we can time the market ourselves, and not wait on the whims of an overbooked distributor, which means your investment isn't tied up with delayed release schedules, but instead is put to work almost immediately.
Since we the filmmakers are in charge of marketing, a portion of the investment will be spent directly on marketing efforts, which will be much more than the bare minimum indie distributors spend. This allows us to find and serve our audience directly. We have the conviction that this is the best method for indie film releasing because the filmmakers have always had their audience's interest in mind. In taking charge of the film's release, the filmmakers can continue that mission in serving their audience.
Our marketing efforts have ALREADY begun before pre-production has even started. The character of Eddie Sturdevent is making waves on social media. The filmmakers have spent months crafting content specifically for social media, and the character of Eddie is a presence online. This filmmaker-driven effort will only grow as the film is made and readied for distribution. Funds will be set aside for other conventional marketing expenses as a lead-up to release. We have already been hard at work in cultivating our audience, which will only grow in lead up to the film's release.
Our market research has shown revenue returns ranging from $443,500 to $1.8 Million. Since we're cutting out the middlemen, that means more profits for all of us. We're offering premium terms to our earlybird VIP investors: the first $50,000 invested will return at 115% plus 50% net profits. Remaining invesment will return at 110% plus 50% net profits.
We believe our business model will be the norm for indie cinema in years to come. The new model empowers the filmmaker and makes them truly independent, no longer at the whims of the film distributor. Cutting out the middlemen lowers costs and multiplies profits.
