Designed specifically for gay men and the leather/kink community, our vision is to combine authentic leather culture with state-of-the-art infrastructure, top-tier sound, and an expansive indoor/outdoor layout.

Major Construction Update: Building From the Ground Up

We are transforming the venue from the inside out. Both the interior and outdoor patio space have been completely gutted to build a modern, high-capacity, state-of-the-art facility built to last for decades.

Behind the scenes, we’ve made massive structural, electrical, and utility upgrades to prepare for our October 2026 launch.

Infrastructure & Structural Heavy Lifting

Brand-New Plumbing & Utilities: Installed underground fire water line to new fire suppression sprinkler system, all-new main domestic water and sewer lines, paired with a 100% new indoor plumbing system feeding 12 toilets and 6 urinals to easily support peak high-capacity nights required by code.

Structural Engineering: Poured a heavy-duty grade beam to support sheer block walls, reinforced existing steel pipe structural columns, replaced failing columns, and added a new structural column for maximum support.

Roof & Climate Control: Replaced 40+ failing rafters and topping the building with a brand-new foam roof, alongside 5 new high-efficiency AC units to keep the party cool year-round.

Complete Electrical Overhaul: Entirely new electrical service is being installed from scratch to power our heavy-duty lighting, sound, and all new bar equipment.

Seamless Indoor/Outdoor Flow: Three massive 10-foot-tall stacking glass sliders open directly onto the outdoor space.

Expanded Outdoor Patio: We’ve expanded the patio by 800 sq. ft., complete with three custom pergolas and a permanent outdoor bar.

Amenities & Retail: Enjoy an indoor pool table area, secure clothing check lockers accessed via custom RFID wristbands, and an official onsite Rough Trade Gear shop.

Meet the Founders

Together since 2012, we went all-in on the Coachella Valley in 2022 after selling our home in San Diego—a move sparked after several visits left us captivated by the unique Palm Springs vibe.

We bring a powerful blend of technical precision and human-first care to hospitality. Phillip brings over 25 years of experience as a software engineer, ensuring our operations, infrastructure, and back-end tech run seamlessly. Jeremy has served as a Registered Nurse since 2008, bringing a deep commitment to guest safety, high-touch service, and genuine care.

As part of the local LGBTQ+ community, we realized something vital was missing in the Greater Palm Springs area: a top-tier, world-class entertainment venue dedicated specifically to the leather and kink community. That’s why we created Eagle Cathedral City.

While our space is proudly rooted in leather and kink culture, our overall ethos is rooted in respect. We welcome anyone who steps through our doors with courtesy and appreciation for the community it was built to honor.
