Risks Specific to ComicBlitz
1. ComicBlitz relies on publishers to license their content to us in order for us to distribute it to our end users. We currently have licensing agreements with 29 publishers. 6 are Top 20 publishers, and a 7th is an imprint of the #3 publisher. We forsee that number growing, and filling out the rest of the Top 20. However there is the possibility of ComicBlitz not being able to obtain certain licenses.
2. ComicBlitz is a true competitor in the field of subscription digital comic books, and has very few competitors. We have substantial differentiators currently, and planned for future iterations of our product. However, our largest competitor, is Comixology, an Amazon company with pre-established relationships with publishers, and truly unlimited access to capital.
3. ComicBlitz’s revenue is nominal, but is due to lack of capital to reach more potential users. Although revenues are expected to grow exponentially over the next few years, there is the possibility of this not happening.
4. Jordan Plosky (CEO) and Gregory Weiss (CTO), the two founders, are full time.
