At Bloomstack in 2021, we set out to build an AI-powered system that could replace software engineers to accelerate our platform development. This led to revolutionizing how we ran our own business, and we realized this power would soon transform all aspects of any business.

Bloomstack is currently conducting paid pilot programs with two C-suite consulting firms and a large industrial firm. We have a waiting list of over 30 CEOs who registered for early access to AI Mystic for their companies.

Investment Opportunity

Bloomstack has raised approximately $2.2 million in pre-seed funding (previous round @ $8.5M valuation) and is seeking an additional $3 million in funding at a $15 million post-money valuation. We are placing $600K of this on Wefunder with a $400K portion made available to our existing and early bird investors at a $9.5M valuation and the remaining $200K at $12,000,000.

Use of Proceeds and Resulting

With the couple paying clients we have at Bloomstack and a micro staff of only 2 paid employees and infrastructure expenses, we are running a deficit of approximately -$3,500 per month or $42,000 per year. As of September 2024 we are also in negotiations to add a new client which should cover this shortfall even without additional funding.

With how fast the industry is moving, we need to move faster or the advantage we currently have will evaporate the longer we take to ramp up and deploy what we have now as a proof of concept. Below are the foreseeable milestones as we secure additional resources.

12 Month Use of Proceeds:

Extend Current Runway ($150,000):

• Complete programming and alpha testing for AI Mystic v1.
• Develop robust roles and permissions system for launch.
• Cloud Infrastructure.
• Legal and accounting support.

Team Expansion ($360,000-$720,000):

• Hire 2-4 quality AI and backend engineers ($15K/month each).
• Accelerate platform development and self-programming capabilities.

Open Source AI Mystic and Growth Budget ($1,500,000-$2,000,000):

• Hire Product Manager, Business Development lead, and Community Lead.
• Launch and manage AI Mystic as an Open Source Software Project.
• Allocate budget for marketing and increased sales efforts.

Details:

1. Extend our runway. ($100,000 min) We have a good amount of programming and testing to do before we release a v1 alpha of AI Mystic as a SaaS. We can get there without growing our team but we need more time to do things correctly otherwise we will need to cut corners and incur risks which we know how to avoid with more time and resources. For example, we can scale the platform faster with a more robust roles and permissions system to account for organizations and multiple teams vs. a wide open accounts where everyone acts like an admin. BUYS US: Stability and the flexibility to make better decisions. Also pays for some legal and accounting help. LAUNCH: Ship a Beta product with limited features by Q1 2025.
2. Team Expansion. ($120,000-$360,000 min) We want to add more people to our Engineering team ASAP to help with our backend for scalability. Quality engineers are costly and even with offering generous stock options we are unlikely to find quality team members for less than $10-$15K per month. BUYS US: 2 engineers at $15K per month = $360,000 for 12 months (ideally we would add 4 more). Also exponentially increases our velocity as these engineers will work to accelerate our platform's capacity to program itself. LAUNCH: Ship more features and integrations (Google Docs, Slack, Twilio, Hubspot, HuggingFace, other platforms, etc.) in Q1 2025.
3. Expand Team and Open Source Launch. ($400,000 - $600,000 Max on Wefunder) In addition to adding a Product Manager and Biz Dev head we will add a dedicated Community Lead to launch and manage providing our platform as an Open Source Software Project. BUYS US: Open Source project launch to be an early leader in providing platform for other projects to build on and expand our core technology through community contributions and testing. A portion of the proceeds will also be dedicated to marketing budgets for increased sales.
4. This seed funding will ultimately accelerate our progress towards raising a $10M+ Series A round in 2025. Our goal is to gain enough traction over the next 6-8 months to raise at a significantly higher valuation potentially in excess of $100M+ (this is only a guess and it could be much higher or lower depending on the market conditions and our traction). However, we have seen recent startups in our direct space with huge valuations in excess of $1B after only being in business for 6 months with 4 employees, pre-revenue and a sketchy demo.
